Who is notified when your burglar alarm is triggered and you are away from home? So many households rely on their neighbours or passersby to contact them or the police when their house has been broken in to. However, once someone has noticed the break-in, it’s likely that the intruder is long gone, as are your valuable possessions.
A monitored burglar alarm by Homewatch means that the alarm system is being monitored remotely, for triggers and faults 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). We can therefore act on break-ins quickly and efficiently by ruling out false alarms and providing the necessary action such as an audio response to the intruder, our Rapid Response Team or the police.
At Homewatch, we have our own in-house Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) that acts to receive any signal from your security system. Our ARC is fully NSI Gold accredited and operates to BS5979 category II standards. We and the team, therefore, work to the latest and highest standards as demanded by the police, rescue and fire services and insurance industry.
We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and believe our honest, approachable and helpful team are some of the best in the security monitoring industry.

2. The signal from your burglar alarm is received by our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and sent on to our control room.
3. If an alarm is triggered at a time that you’ve set likely for your household to be at home, then our Monitoring Centre Operatives will contact you directly to check for a false alarm.
4. However, if an alarm is triggered when you are away from your property, or within the night, then our Monitoring Centre Operatives will check your live CCTV footage to verify an intruder. and call the most appropriate response team.
Keep your burglar alarm monitored 24/7, every day of the year and maintained to a high standard from just £9.99 per month. We’ll guarantee your alarm system is always in working order and monitoring the system means we can be extremely reactive to intruders, whether that is via an audio, guard or police response.
