Receive a free, no-obligation quotation for a new home burglar alarm installation by filling out our online form. The Homewatch team will be in touch to organise a home site-survey with one of our Burglar Alarm Consultant Experts. They will conduct an in-depth security consultation with you on the day to understand your security needs and current concerns, such as high-risk areas of your home. They may even suggest options you hadn’t previously considered.
Our designers will then create a bespoke burglar alarm system for your home and provide you with a full quotation and detailed proposal.
If you choose to accept the proposal, then we can commence with the burglar alarm installation. Our customer service team will be in touch to organise a date and time to suit you. On the day, the NSI approved engineer will call you to let you know they are on their way. They will then install your new burglar alarm system in line with the strict NSI standards with a quality service and professionalism.
Once installed, the Homewatch engineer will commission your system, meaning it will be tested and checked to be working and set-up properly. You will then be issued with an NSI Certificate of Compliance which states that your new system meets the minimum NSI standards.
If you have chosen to have a monitored burglar alarm, then the engineer will also install and check the necessary signalling and activations are in place and working correctly. You will then be given a full demonstration of your new system.
A Security System Log Book will also be issued which contains important information about your system. Keep it safe for future engineers or maintenance checks.
Our monitoring and maintenance packages start from just £9.99 per month. Be reassured that your burglar alarm is in constant working condition with regular maintenance visits. By monitoring your alarm system, we can identify faults as well as take immediate action if an alarm is triggered.
Our local surveyor will then arrange a home survey at your convenience. We’ll talk through your needs and what level of security you’re trying to achieve, and survey your property. We’ll then put together a no obligation, no hassle quotation tailored to your home and your needs.

One of our qualified engineers will carry out the installation. All our engineers are NSI accredited and are trained to the highest and latest industry standards. They will be considerate of your home and provide a friendly, world-class service.
Your intruder alarm systems quote will include the cost of the actual system and components, as well as the labour time needed to install the system. We actively make sure that you don’t come across any unexpected costs during the process, ensuring that all costs are discussed upfront and presented within your initial quote.
It is always recommended to work with an installer that is NSI-accredited and supplies NSI-approved systems. This is to ensure that both the company and its products have been audited to the highest industry standards and approved by the certification body which is the NSI. Homewatch is proud to be NSI Gold-approved.
Yes please! We’ll need an adult present to meet the engineer, ideally yourself or someone who has been involved in the installation communication. The engineer will aim to offer minimal disruption to your day but may have a few questions to ask during the installation. They will also teach you how to use your new burglar alarm system and answer any of your questions.
